No Weigh

I haven’t exercised at all since getting sick (see previous post) and don’t plan to start exercising until next week at the soonest. I didn’t want to weigh in figuring that I wouldn’t have lost anything. The past couple of days I have felt fat. I weighed myself anyway this morning and was happy and shocked with the results.

Yesterday, I did some extra time at work and I got home right at noon. I was very hungry at ate lunch right away. I forgot to weigh in…

I don’t like to weigh after a meal though. So I weighed this morning when I woke up instead of yesterday.

Less than 1lb this week. Between Easter, my wife’s birthday, and my normal schedule being all messed up… I can live with it. I’ll do better next week.

Weigh In Plus

I had to take my physical today and I passed just fine! Last year my blood sugar was an issue. Possible issue — I was having glycosuria at the time. No glycosuria today so I was OK on that front. My weight today at the physical was 300lbs… but that is completely dressed with shoes even. When I got home I compared it on my scale and it was the same – so I reckon my new scale is accurate.

I didn’t get to exercise with a DVD though because of going to the physical, however I did get the chance to do some laps. I did one mile altogether. Walk a lap, jog a lap, walk, jog. My jog isn’t much because of my weight — you could walk next to me and keep up with no problem. It isn’t about speed though. It gets my legs used to running and gets my heart rate going. One of the days I’ll be able to run a 5K (fingers crossed).

Knowing that my weigh in at the physical would be completely dressed and that I wouldn’t have time to exercise, I jumped ahead and weighed in the morning when I got out of bed. Normally, I like to do it after exercising and before I eat lunch, but oh well.

The last few weeks have been busy between spring break and some other stuff so I didn’t get to exercise very often. I did my best to stick with my diet though, which wasn’t too difficult. The bigger problem was sticking to my eating schedule. I tried to eat every three to four hours but had some trouble. Still, I managed to maintain my weight and didn’t gain any.

I’m getting back into my daily routine again and losing some weight again!
