I had to take my physical today and I passed just fine! Last year my blood sugar was an issue. Possible issue — I was having glycosuria at the time. No glycosuria today so I was OK on that front. My weight today at the physical was 300lbs… but that is completely dressed with shoes even. When I got home I compared it on my scale and it was the same – so I reckon my new scale is accurate.
I didn’t get to exercise with a DVD though because of going to the physical, however I did get the chance to do some laps. I did one mile altogether. Walk a lap, jog a lap, walk, jog. My jog isn’t much because of my weight — you could walk next to me and keep up with no problem. It isn’t about speed though. It gets my legs used to running and gets my heart rate going. One of the days I’ll be able to run a 5K (fingers crossed).
Knowing that my weigh in at the physical would be completely dressed and that I wouldn’t have time to exercise, I jumped ahead and weighed in the morning when I got out of bed. Normally, I like to do it after exercising and before I eat lunch, but oh well.

TIME: 5:30 AM before anything
GOAL: 180 lbs
